Children’s Scholarships Update

DETROIT – The UAW-Chrysler National Training Center will begin accepting applications for Scholarships for Dependent Children on Dec. 15 for courses successfully completed during the 2016 school year.

Eligible UAW-represented FCA US LLC employees have until Feb. 1, 2017, to submit signed applications and all supporting documents to the Tuition Assistance Plan (TAP) Office.

If additional documentation is requested by the TAP Office, the deadline for receiving all required documents will be extended to Feb. 15, 2017.
Late submissions will not be accepted.

Scholarship for Dependent Children applicants may request reimbursement for completed courses retroactive to Jan. 1, 2016.

Reimbursements can be expected through EPay next spring.

Eligible dependent children of active UAW-represented FCA US seniority employees may apply for the scholarships of up to $1,500 annually.

They must be pursuing a post-secondary education degree at a two-year or four-year institution accredited by a governmental or nationally-recognized agency.
