The Co-Chairs' Awards
What does it take
to put in a full-day's work (or more), attend to a family and the hundred
other tasks that make up the average person's week, and somehow find
the time and energy to earn a college degree?
More than an average
dose of dedication, determination and drive – the kind of award-winning
qualities that typify the UAW-Chrysler workforce.
No one knows better
than we at the NTC just how driven to succeed UAW-Chrysler workers
are. But we want to let others in on the secret of their success. Accordingly,
each year we present the UAW-Chrysler Co-Chairs' Awards to celebrate
workers' commitment to education.
The awards are presented
at the UAW-Chrysler Annual Meeting to workers and to facilities'
Local Joint Training Committees for their achievements
in education.
At
the 2006 meeting, four workers (at right) were recognized for their educational
accomplishments.
