Learning
Center helps UAW-Chrysler workers brush up on basic
math, reading and writing skills so they may successfully
pursue more advanced education. The program (formerly called
Tech Prep at some locations) also has something to offer others,
such as help with college studies or learning English as a
second language. Individualized instruction is a hallmark
of the program. Classes are offered at Chrysler plants
and staffed by teachers from local school systems.
