DETROIT – Identifying and coping with Alzheimer’s Disease is on the agenda for this month’s Webinar for UAW-represented Chrysler workers or family members.
The UAW-Chrysler Family
Resource and Referral Program is offering the fast-paced,
interactive session from 3-4 p.m. Eastern Time Wednesday.
Jacqueline Marcell, author of the best-selling book “Elder Rage,” will
facilitate the Webinar.
She will focus on the 10 warning signs of Alzheimer’s and the importance
of early diagnosis as the first step to getting appropriate treatment to slow
progression of the disease and to obtaining the best care and support.

Participants will get the expert advice via the telephone and the Web. They
may submit questions online or over the phone during the one-hour seminar,
which will be illustrated with slides.
The Webinar has slots for up to 25 persons. In order to participate, you must
sign up 15 minutes prior to the start of the session to reserve your place.
There is no advance registration and no special software required to participate.
To join the Webinar, first click the Family
Resource and Referral Program option from the dropdown Circle
of Life menu on the home page of this Web site. Then follow the Log In procedure
at upper-right on the Resource and Referral page.
Next, click on Webinars, choose “10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s
Disease” and follow the instructions to connect with the session.
If you miss it, the Webinar will be archived and may be accessed at a later
date.
