10 WARNING SIGNS

Webinar targets early diagnosis of Alzheimer’s

DETROIT – Identifying and coping with Alzheimer’s Disease is on the agenda for this month’s Webinar for UAW-represented Chrysler workers or family members.

The UAW-Chrysler Family Resource and Referral Program is offering the fast-paced, interactive session from 3-4 p.m. Eastern Time Wednesday.

Jacqueline Marcell, author of the best-selling book “Elder Rage,” will facilitate the Webinar.

She will focus on the 10 warning signs of Alzheimer’s and the importance of early diagnosis as the first step to getting appropriate treatment to slow progression of the disease and to obtaining the best care and support.

More than 5 million Americans now have Alzheimer’s disease.

Participants will get the expert advice via the telephone and the Web. They may submit questions online or over the phone during the one-hour seminar, which will be illustrated with slides.
