'Transformers(TM)' Vehicles To Visit Detroit International River Days


 GM's Stars of Summer Action -Adventure 'Transformers(TM)' on Display June
                             22 - June 27, 2007

    DETROIT, June 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Four of Hollywood's newest
stars, the Chevrolet Camaro, Pontiac Solstice, Hummer H2 and GMC Top Kick
medium duty truck will take center stage at the Detroit International River
Days presented by GM in collaboration with the Detroit RiverFront
Conservancy and The Parade Company, beginning June 22 through June 27
taking place along Detroit's new RiverWalk.
    GM's vehicles all star in this summer's action adventure,
"Transformers(TM)," opening July 3, 2007. These stars will be on display at
the first-ever, six day festival celebrating the decade-long effort to
bring life and excitement to the riverfront and downtown Detroit.
    "We are thrilled to have four of GM's most talked about vehicles from
this summer's action blockbuster on the river front," said Dino Bernacchi,
GM Marketing Alliances and Branded Entertainment. "River Days, being the
largest Detroit festival, will give thousands the opportunity to experience
these creative vehicles up close."
    The family-friendly event, which will feature activities and
entertainment spanning from the new Gabriel Richard Plaza & Pavilion to the
GM Plaza & Promenade and beyond, will be free to the public and will take
advantage of the natural assets the Riverfront provides. Festival-goers
will enjoy live musical entertainment on three stages, interactive games,
exhibits, carnival elements and activities involving metro Detroit's
fishing and boating community, including the DTE Energy Parade of Lights on
the Detroit River.

    Detroit International River Days kicks off Friday, June 22 and
culminates on Wednesday, June 27 with the 49th Annual Target Fireworks.
Spanning from the new Rivard Plaza & Pavilion to the GM Plaza & Promenade

of the natural assets the Riverfront provides. It will feature
family-friendly entertainment including GM Cool Events, DTE Energy Parade
of Lights, the Family Fun Zone, Ultimate Air Dogs, a carnival, incredible

Orchestra, The Official VIP Rooftop Party, Target Fireworks, some of
